Why don’t we run when we want to run?
The reasons flow easily: no time, no energy, no motivation, inspiration, etc.
We have all found ourselves dueling it out in a mental battle between our running self and our let’s drink one more cup of coffee self.
Next time you find yourself weighing the pros and cons take this simple survey:
- Will I feel better physically if I run?
- Will I feel better mentally if I run?
- Will I regret skipping out on my run?
- Will this run make my day better or worse?
Four simple questions. Answer them and decide if you will run today.
Even though it is easy to find reasons to skip out on a run it is easier to just run.
