Why StrongerRunners?

I think everyone runs to  become stronger.

They may want to be stronger physically, mentally, emotionally or in some other way.

After almost 20 years of running I keep finding new ways to become stronger as a runner.

I have found that complementing a running routine with a minimalist strength training program has helped me run faster and stronger for longer distances. Also, running regularly, having a solid running routine, has made me stronger mentally. After every single run, I feel stronger emotionally.

None of these strengths could be reached without a running routine and running habits.

I continue to learn everyday, and find new ways to be motivated and inspired to run faster, run stronger and love every second of my runs, whether I am pushing through the last miles of a 50 mile run or struggling to hit my splits during a 5 mile speed work session.

My goal with StrongerRunners is to share what I have learned and what I am learning about running stronger.

I wish running upon everyone and anyone. It is one of the best parts of my day and I never regret one minute that has been spent on the roads and trails.

I hope to motivate and inspire any who have the desire to make running stronger a part of their life.
